Dear Pre-K Parents,
We are excited to have your child possibly starting in one of our Pre-K programs here at Pre-Cam Community School at the beginning of September. Due to possibly high registration numbers this year, we cannot guarantee your request for either AM or PM classes at this time. We will try to honour your request and will contact you during the first week back in August to let you know.
On Tuesday, September 1st, we will be having a “Meet the Teacher” BBQ from 12:00 until 2:00. At that time, you will find out who your child’s teacher is, meet their teacher, and visit the classroom. To attend, your child will need to be pre-registered and then qualified based on NLSD’s AP guidelines. If you are unable to attend, please contact the school at 306-425-2226 to schedule a visit.
Our Pre-K’s will have a staggered start during the first and second week of September and then normal attendance after that. Half of the children come on their alternating day schedule and then the other half come for their days to make the introduction to school a little smoother. Busing is available during the staggered week. Here is what the start schedule will look like:
Home Visits: August 28, 29, 31, Sept 1 (Your teacher will arrange a time with you)
First Week: September 2, 3, 4 Staggered start
Second Week: September 8 , 9, 10: Staggered start
September 11: No school for pre-k students
Third Week: Beginning on September 14: Everyone attends

Group A: Sept 2, 4, 9
Group B: Sept 3, 8, 10
