Dear Pre-K Parents,
We are excited to have your child starting in our Pre-Kindergarten program here at Pre-Cam Community School at the beginning of September. We know that parents need to plan for daycare, so please know that if you registered your child for either AM or PM classes, we will honour your request, unless you have already been notified.
On Tuesday, September 1st, we will be having a “Meet Your Teacher Luncheon” from 12:00 until 2:00. At that time, you will find out who your child’s teacher is, meet their teacher, and visit the classroom. To attend, your child will need to be pre-registered and then qualified based on NLSD’s AP guidelines. If you are unable to attend, please contact the school at 306-425-2226 to schedule a visit.
Our Pre-K’s will have a staggered start during the first and second week of September and then normal attendance after that. Half of the children come on their alternating day schedule and then the other half come for their days to make the introduction to school a little smoother. Busing is available during the staggered week. Your child’s teacher will share the staggered schedule with you at the Meet Your Teacher Lunch.
Home /School Visits: These will take place for new students. Your child’s teacher will reach out to you to arrange a visit.
First Week: September 2, 3, 4 Staggered start
Second Week: September 8 , 9, 10: Staggered start
September 11: No school for pre-k students
Third Week: Beginning on September 14: Everyone attends
